Holdings and specialist collections:
The museum library houses more than 53,000 volumes and subscribes to 20 periodicals. The library‘s collection mirrors the exhibition activities of the Museum of Modern Art, with a main focus on modern and contemporary art as well as related fileds of study. The holdings consist primarily of publications by the artists represented in the museum’s collection and exhibitions. These include national and international exhibition and collection catalogues, specialist literature on artists and art movements, artists’ books and gray literature.
