We are a library specialising in the history, religion and culture of Judaism. Here you will find publications on religious and intellectual history since antiquity, cultural as well as economic history, on anti-Semitism and Zionism as well as reference books on the State of Israel. The multifaceted regional literature on German-speaking Jewish communities is a special feature within Frankfurt's library landscape. We also hold numerous exhibition and art catalogues.
In addition to quiet workplaces for researchers, we offer a cosy reading corner for museum guests and visitors who are especially interested in the holdings of our reference library. Children and young people are also very welcome and we offer a variety of picture books, novels, comics and graphic novels on the subject of Judaism.
